The Ritual Movement Major Arcana writing collection
do you love writing and have something to share about a Major Arcana archetype?
We are seeking submissions for short pieces of writing, including poems, essays, personal stories, or fiction, that speak to the essence of a Major Arcana archetype. Some pieces will be chosen to set the stage of the associated dance, and be included in a printed anthology at the end of the season. All others (who wish to be) will be included in a community archive here.
The purpose of this project is to create a space to celebrate soul-centered writing and storytelling, deepen understanding of the Major Arcana by learning from each other, and encourage creativity—
the world needs your words!

Please don’t include your name or contact information on the document itself
For submitters who don’t make it into the anthology and wish to share their work, Rae will include them in an ongoing archive on this website.
In order to reduce bias, these will be read blindly by Rae, who will choose one piece to be read out loud during opening circle of the associated dance. At the end of the season, this piece will also be included in a printed anthology designed and edited by Rae.
An example anthology of season 3 is currently in the works and will be available at the Fool dance- the opening of season 4 on April 19th.
Submissions will align with the dance schedule. The submission window for each card opens two dances before the dance of that card (generally four weeks) and closes the dance before (generally two weeks).
Open to all! Not limited to those who will be physically present at dance. If you aren’t there, we will read your piece for you, and you'll still be included in the final anthology.
